Overview
WordAxis is a word strategy game you can play anywhere: no internet, no ads and no account. Make words with your eight tiles on a 17×17 board full of bonus squares, against an on-device AI at three levels or with 2 to 4 players passing the same iPhone.
Expedition is its own mode: an open board you drag to explore, with a bag of tiles that never runs out. Race to a target score, claim the beacons scattered across the board or play Zen, with no opponent and no end. A new Daily Challenge arrives every day and is always free.
There are three dictionaries — American English, European Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese — each with its own tiles and values. Any word can be looked up, with its definition, without leaving the game. The dictionaries come from openly licensed sources, credited in the app.
